    breaking through

    this is a picture of my lake at my cottage in Canada. A storm was approaching but just as it began to start up the sunlight shined over the water and through the clouds.

    The horizon needs to be straight. It looks like you might need to do a little skewing to get it there as the horizon curves up at both ends....almost bordering on a fisheye look.

    I think the water is level and its just the way the landscape is.

    I like these dramatic clouds, simple composition, but effective.

    Works for me, though something in the water would be nice to provide a main focal point. Agreed about horizon needing straightened, however the fisheye look doesnt bother me.
