    Brasileiro

A fine gentleman from Conceicao Da Barra, Espirito Santo, Brasil.

What do you think of the shadow play? does it work, take away or add to this shot?

Leels, I can at least say that it works for me. I think that this is a good portrait and the background actually adds to the shot due to the tones and the lightplay going on.

    LeeIs,

I wish the shadow line was just a *tad* lower (around the neck line). That being said, the shadow works wonders in the background IMO and adds some great definition and contrast in the background. Well done.

i think the shadow line is great, just highlighting his eyes, however i do wish it was lower in the background.
I really like this shot, the background is classic, but simple and really does add alot to the shot.

I am not sure I agree with the shadow, But it does give him a bandit type look. I wonder what this would look like in B&W.....

Thanks guys, so the shadow gets a 3/4 vote. I like that. I thought the focus on the eyes added a bit to the shot but was wondering on how others viewed it.

Greg, I didn't like it much in B&W, but you can download it and convert it to see for yourself, I don't mind people editing my artwork at all.
