i like everything about this shot except for her eyes. she looks like she might be narcoleptic. and maybe her left hand too; which makes it look like she's gonna hit someone. on the other hand, the position of her hand might suggest something a lot less violent....other than that, i think the shot is great.
I agree with RO's comments, but also throw in that the reflection behind her is slightly distracting. On the positive side, nice DOF, model, lighting and placement of her in the frame. Looks like you're on your way into a new career here, Jet

Well, you guys confirmed my suspicions :mad2: I did the best I could to make the eyes believable, but in the original I must have caught her mid-blink because they were white (I mean totally shiny bright white with no iris or pupil showing) like a zombie. Honestly, I didn't notice the left hand so that'll be something to watch for in the future and I appreciate you pointing it out Random. I think a new career is some way off GB lots more practice required, but considering the fact that I only picked up my first DSLR slightly less than a year ago, I'm not feeling too bad about my progress thus far :thumbsup:
Love the color and the scene. The subject looks great and the pose is fine, but just not crazy bout her facial expression, and as mentioned the eyes. The reflection behind her could be distracting but I find it works as a cool effect. As if she is on fire or something. i like it. Just the eyes and facial expression hit me wrong here.
Pretty good overall, and i would bet she likes it.
