    A boy, a girl.

Was testing out my new lens hood and took a few of my kids which, BTW are natural posers! From the bunch I liked these. Any comments/suggestions welcome! In reference to the lens hood, maybe its me but the pics do preserve better contrast with it.

2nd and third shots are my favorites. Unfortunate about the pillow in the second shot but I really like the angle and the perspective distortion - it works.

I tried to get rid of the pillow but it just happens some long hairs cross over it and it looked weird. Thanks!

Nice shots of your kids. I see that they're definitely not camera shy. Hoods are good, keeping out flare. Some of these need a bit better composition and consideration with the surroundings. E.g, the bottom shot is fun and the grass is great, but the back wall, with it's unsightly color, sort of kills it for me. Still, gotta catch the moment.

The first one has the background and the hammock competing, drawing the eye away. I'd would avoid multiple back ground duels in the future.
