I really like this, I can imagine an unwanted caller arriving and the cat's giving the caller the evil eye that cats do so well.
My one critique which is very minor and that is the crop is a little close to the 429, I would prefer a little more space.
Well captured

Sharp and great composition. Very subtle too.... and it made me laugh!
I wish the cat body was a bit better defined, but its head - and mostly eyes - are very sharp and unmistakable against the black background. Very well done!...
I agree with Roger concerning the crop, but that's no biggie.
I think I may have said this before, but I always enjoy your work. Most of the time you just "see" differently than I do and for a moment I can see it too.
I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
As one totally owned by a cat, I understand this subject !
Very nicely exposed, but I would be happier if the door furniture (the number, handle and so on) was closer to the cat.
I think the number is too close to the edge of the frame.
Our cat is 22 now, and she is still the bouncer at our door.
Standing her ground and scaring off the next door tom cat.
After seeing the posts about the number being too close to the edge I scrolled to just hide the number and found that I like the shot better without it - just a fearsome feline at both extremes in the frame.
