    Borders

    A shot of a Borders downtown. I prefer the crop, but attached both for comparison.

    Mamiya 645, 55mm lens, Kodak Ektachrome VS 100.

    I like the uncropped version best, though I must admit its an interesting topic. There's nothing in this picture that jumps out at me or makes it memorable.

    You took this at night, huh? The fact that its a night shot is kinda cool.

    I think that the shadows contrasting against the yellow boards work quite effectively in this image and therefore the first image wins my vote between the two.

    Thks for the comments! I'd forgot about this shot... It really doesnt have a lot in the photo, but I guess I liked the color and contrast. It's just missing the rest. Jessica it was shot on early morning Xmas day, when nobody was around. I guess it reminded me of Macy's in NY during Xmastime.
