Jaffar, I don't know enough about HDR to comment, but the composition looks pretty good. Too bad those boats are out of water.

I love it composition wise. but the sky is very flat and dull. I think some luminosity tweaks in photomatix would really help. Some light smoothing would also cut down on the halo effect too.

I think the composition is very good here. The building has a lot of appeal and the boats being out of the water is different but I like it. I think this would be much better if it were a more classic shot without it being an HDR. The haloing effect is a bit much for my personal taste. I think that I would lean towards giving this a more painting type look.

I think reprocessing with different settings could cut out or down the haloing which really distracts form the landscape.
