    Boardwalk

    Was experimenting today with DOF and perspectives while out for a hike. This is one of the shots that came out of it. Can't quite decide if this works or not. What do you think?

    The answer from me is

    Yes. It works.

    However, it is missing one very big thing: a subject. Would have worked excellant with a skater or runner in there.

    Thanks GB1 You are completely right. It felt like it needed something but, wasn't sure what. Unfortunately, not many skaters or runners out in the woods though...LOL All joking aside, my girlfriend was with me on the hike, I should have had her go ahead of me for the shot. Have to try a reshoot maybe next week. Thanks again GB1

    Interesting composition here, too. I like the way the walkway winds thru the frame.
