    Bluebell Woods

Hi all ... I did my annual visit to the local bluebell woods today. The bluebells are only thick for a couple of weeks, so you have to grab the opportunity! Here's one effort, with the Orton effect applied.

As always, any comments are appreciated.

    Cheers
    Mike

    Nice composition, light and color.

I like where you put what is in effect the horizon.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Great work Mike. The tree looks awesome. I like where you cropped the top edge of the flowers.

Excellent composition here mike. I like your vision in isolating an area and still getting the feel of the surroundings across. Great color, lighting and the orton pp seems to work magic into this already charming scene.
    Very well done.

I looked for a long time and didn't see any trains coming through. That's a joke.
Different from what I'm used to seeing from you but none the less beautiful.
    Can't see anything to improve.

The coloris just plain striking--especially in the tree.

Yes, very nice Mike. I especially like how the grass fades to purple as the bluebells take over in the distance.

I like the way the picture draws my eye from the bottom of the photograph up through the rest of the picture. It really draws me in. I also like the variety of colors in the tree.
