    The Bluebell Wood

Hi all .. in a break in the spring rain I went into the woods to see what I could find. What I found were carpets of bluebells, among the loveliest of the spring flowers.

    Enjoy!

    Hi,
I like photo 2. It appears to me that 5 tree elves are playing in the field. The shot delivers a very happy mood.

Very nice images, I like them both. Not often that you have the opportunity to photograph a scene like this. As to suggestion for improvement, I would crop a little more of the tree trunk in #1. IMHO #2 would be the stronger of the two images if the you poped the saturation a shade and toned down the brightness of the trees in the background. Overall two very pleasant images to view.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Thanks for that Old Timer - both first class suggestions. It's not worth reposting just a recrop but here is the version of No. 2 with the improvements you suggested - plus a small crop off the far right.

    Cheers

Didache, I really like both of these a lot. The color of the bluebells is really beautiful, and I think your second version with the saturation boosted looks great.
I like the texture of the tree in the first shot too...especially with the flowers more in the background and a bit muted. Really nice.
