Nice sharpness and has just enough space on the right for a great composition . Even without the reflection this would be a fine effort, but that really lifts it. Great shot I'm sure you'll print this one. ( and not a log in sight..... )

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

Thanks Pete, I am very happy with this shot and indeed have already printed and framed it. I have many pictures of birds sitting or standing in the water with a reflection but I think this is a first for me to get one in flight with a reflection. This pelican was flying low enough to the water and the water was smooth enough that everything just worked out very nice for this shot. Thanks for your comments, they are appreciated, Jeff

Thanks Armando, I am really happy with this image. It had never even crossed m mind about ctching a BIF with a reflection before until I caught this one, so now I will try and get more. The combination of a low flying bird and smooth water and timing is going to be a tuff thing to get.

Jeff - Hmm.. Great catch. I can't see how you could have done any better. The shot's good and the only thing that could make it better would be a more exciting background, but it's more than adequate. Try making a version in B&W and see it if looks vintage.
