    Blue Door

I guess its obvious I attended an auto show recently. The challenge, for me anyway, was how to shoot the vehicles with all the unfavorable backgrounds. I decided to concentrate on pieces of the autos and see what I could come up with.

This is great Arne! But I would definitely crop out the evidence of the top of the door, even if you lose context. It will be a slightly different photo without that, 'floating' as they say, but I think it will be better.

    Thanks dm.
GB, I got the same crit on another site and redid it. And it does look better. I guess i was glad when I got rid of the "through the window bad BG" in the original that I didn't notice how much nicer more cropping would be. Thanks for the input.

I really like the new edited version, much better IMO. The only other thing is, I wish there was more detail in the handle. Overall, very interesting image.

I could see this as a big canvas with a couple of other similar shots in other colors hung on big canvases.
