    blue

a little dark, but I like it that way.

Don't remember the settings, I took the photo a while ago, just trying to find the right mood.

okay, much darker on the desktop than the laptop. Now all I can see is boob.

    Honest opinions...too much boob?

    Hi Adina,
I like the dark, I like the soft round shapes. I don't think there's too much breast, I thinks it's quite a complimentary form and shadow portrait of your subject.
What keeps bothering me though are the dimples or creases or shadows or I don't know what in your background. It's so smooth everywhere else that they seem like a big disruption to the flow. Clone those out and this is great!

A nice mood shot Adina. I dodn't think there is too much boob, but having them lit as much as they are draws a bit of attention away from the face since both areas are about the same brightness. A little burning in there could change that.
I think you need a little more seperation. No...not there...... more seperation between the top of your shoulder and the background.
As you know, I'm not a people photographer and you are, so you probably ought to ignore this post.

    Re: blue

This is a very nice moody photograph. I think both of the previous critiquers have valid suggestions. As Chunk said a little highlighting of the face would enhance the image. I think also that the shadow area to the right is just a little to dark, on my monitor their is no detail in the shadow at all. I would prefer that area to be a bit lighter. As to pose and composition I like this photograph very much. You remain the QUEEN of the self portrait. Thanks for sharing.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    Re: blue

    Thanks all.

The marks on the background are actually imperfections in the wall. Given that we have plaster walls, and the house has been moved, there is quite a bit of that throughout.

The original is correctly exposed, and I have detail and shadows. Perhaps I'll re-attempt the manipulating.

    Thanks all

I like this one a lot Adina!
I like the coolness of the mood.
    I like her(yours?) expression too.
I would agree that the spots on the wall don't work.
Clone them out or re-shoot it on another spot.

He darkness and the strap of your shirt confused me a little. I thought your arm and shoulder at left was perahps your knee and leg, which seemed really awkward. Nice as is, but you might try a crop or two.

    Re: blue

Weirdo that I am, I will say that I like the highlights as they are. They are hitting all the spots that soft, round and sensual in a woman. Her face, her shoulder, the collarbone and, of course, her breasts. It's like everything that makes us the creatures that drive men wild (well, in my younger days anyway) is highlighted and brought out in this one. I really like it Adina.

I also like the darkness appealing because it gives it more of a "bedroom" quality. Don't know if that was anwhere close to where you wanted to go, but that's how I saw it.
