    Blossoms Deep in the Shade

I don't know what kind of tree this is but the blossoms are velvety and subtle.

Nice shot Don. I love the rich contrast and the overwhelming texture. Good work.
I don't want it, I just need it...to breath ...to feel ...to know I'm alive.

Thanks afdlips. This is another one of those experiments in combining layers to get both saturation and sharpness.

Those colors against the black blackground and then the small points of light are very
beautiful. Wow. It has a fairy, magical appeal to it. I like it very much. NJ

Nice going, Don. I like the frameup here. The dots of light in the background could seem busy at first but I think it seems fitting with the entire composition afterall. the deep red/purple colrs and the dark bg give this shot a exotic, sexy feel.
    sharp as well.
