    Blossom

    What do you think of the exposure,WB and composition? Its simple but I believe thats wat makes it work.

    I think it works. I also like the fact that i don't see the stem. it looks like it's hovering.

    Thanks Leels. I had kinda thought that the stem hiding might cause some people not to like the shot as much. It was a low F-stop and the stem was hidden behind a leaf.

    for some reason with these types of shots, i don't really like the stem. it sorta breaks up the image, i definitely like it without those!

    Dave,

    I really like the textures and the colours.

    The hovering flower is great and really makes you concentrate on the flower.

    One nit pic is the vertical green leading from the bottom just left of centre to the top could be cloned out to make it really hover on its own.

    Very nice image. Does anyone know what the flower name is? I just shot a similar one here (looks like the same flower) in North Central Indiana.
