    Blonde, brunette, redhead

    Hi all

This afternoon I went to a major gallery in London which specialises in conceptual art and photography. I turned around and saw this ....

It was a complete grab shot, and unrepeatable as the two girls moved off immediately afterwards.

For obvious reasons I call it Blonde, Brunette, Redhead.

    Cheers

Super. The blonde's posture echoes the brunette (consciously or unconsciously...)

If you are looking for a tweak it looks a little gray. Presumably the wall isn't the middle gray your camera supposed it to be...

Ahhh, The old grab shot. Yes my thoughts were just as Armando. I like the fact I can't see their faces not even a hint. I also like the fact their fashion, clothes compliment each other, probably all close to the same age and I love those shoes. Much to like here.

Well seen! I agree it could probably be a tad brighter but it's a great image.

What a lovely shot - it makes me want to get out with the camera and start taking pictures of people.

I like the grey as it seems to match the mood of the photo.

Thanks everyone for your kind words.

I agree that it was a little grey - I was trying to keep the final image from looking burned out.

To get around this I have lightened it and then applied a little vignetting. I haven't yet printed it, so I don't know yet if this will work as I would like. I know it's subtle.

Intriguing image, I can't think of anything I'd like to change. Perhaps you might want to clone out the sunglasses and spike thing in the girls hand otherwise great as is #2 edit

:Sometimes, I wish I had the power to freeze time to capture these types of grab shots that I see. They never seem to work if I try to replicate what I saw with posed shots.
this is a great shot and I'm glad you did not chop off their feet as the painter did to the brunette :wink5:

Love it. You've created art from art inside art. Your image mirrors perfectly the feel of the original art. It works well. I don't see anything to critique. very good.
