    Blitzkrieg

This was in a downtown area with a million distractions. What do you feel about the angle? I have a couple of more ideas if I get a chance to get back to it.

I like the angle, I would like to see wider to include the tracks.

Thanks EOS. There were so many distrations around the tank it was almost impossible to get a good angle. I can easily go back. I was just pressed for time here.

I walk by two Sherman tanks pretty much on a daily basic.

    I agree with EOS.

This image really doesn't do a whole bunch for me, not trying to be mean. Go back and see what you can do, we all understand distraction maybe add part of it in there and see if you can't make it more alive.

great color. I'd like to see it from a bit lower - kind of like it has already squashed your feet, and your legs are next! If it were perfectly symetrical it might be more abstractly striking, but maybe not.

    Re: Blitzkrieg

Not so much blitzkrieg (from which I'd expect a German panzer) more like Tommy Cooker by the look of it (which was on the receiving end).

I'm not sure the angle works. Also it's either too narrow (no tracks) or not narrow enough.
If it's in a bad situation, then you may need to get high, and shoot down on it.
Or forgo the whole tank and take detail closeups.
But without the guns, does it lose its tank-ness?

Thanks everyone. Paul I actually thought of a series of closeups but will have to return. I didn't have enough of what I needed, or happy with, when I got home. I agree an over head shot would be great as well. There is another tank setting next to this one, maybe I can use it as a ladder?

I like the color alot and the soft sky is a good backdrop. i agree about a wider view including the tracks. Easier said than done though when theres distraction all around

    Re: Blitzkrieg

I want this to be perfectly symmetrical. Right now the tank is slightly off center.

Good subject and an interesting viewing angle.

    I like it.
    No, I DON'T need that.
