    Blended image

This is an attempt at blending images, and my first attempt. The previously blended image I made was partially digital. The subject likely isn't interesting to anyone, and it is not a masterpiece by far, nor intended to be.

This is a stockade wall and guardtower from a civil war POW camp.

I am wondering what others think of the blending, conversion, and exposures.

payn - OK. Pardon my ignorance, but I am not sure what you mean here re: blended - do you mean you blended two images together, or that you used a blending tool in something like PS? If you blended two images I can't tell (which might qualify as a success ) but it might be helpful if you posted both the originals also.

The subject is OK but lacks a strong punchline. But as an expt it might be fine. -GB

This is hand blended, so I take that as a success. Thanks for replying, and yeah, it was just an expirement.

    Re: Blended image

I like the look of the image payn. The color version for me is best. I can relate to GB when he says it lacks a punchline, but i do find the fence pleasing to look at and it's contrast to the sky is also appealing. Youer response to how this is blended did not clear things up much. Is this two images, one being the fence and the other the sky? If so, it looks to have been put together well.

It is two exposures of the same scene. One for the fence, and one for the sky. then I blended them together in Photogimp, with layers and stuff..LOL
