I could make several minor comments about framing, cropping, dealing with the stem, but they are really trivial. So I won't .

Strong patterned b/w photo. Did you convert or shoot in b/w originally. Curious to know if you filtered on camera or in post? Good crisp contrast and no superflous grey shadings. Nice lines and good balance between the subject and negative space.

The original was in colour.
The conversion to B&W was made using the Channel Mixer in PS.
A small adjustment in the levels to ensure the background was sensibly black.
and that is about all I did post processing
