birthday shutters and lanterns

Singapore celebrated it's 40th year of independence in August and there were flags flying all over the island.

I am not confident about this for a number of reasons, interested to see what anyone thinks. Also tempted to frame it but due to the different shades I wasn't quite sure how to proceed...
