I think I like the second one best. It just seems to show the over all scene better. I also like it in B&W

I for the uncropped version, I love how you captured the man in the road with the car moving towards him.

Black and White gives this a nice gritty city feel to it. Nicely done.

I haven't been there for ages.

Very effective use of b/w. I can't decide between the two. I like them both. Something in the first one seems to draw me in a bit more than the second.

when i took it and made it b+w , it made me think of the opening to a few old cop movies as the camera pans down to the road to follow a car

I think the uncropped version is more interesting; it makes you stop and read the advertisement. Black and white works really well here.
So I think the first one's definitely better. ;)

I think I like the cropped one better but both have their benefits.
What strikes me is how few pedestrians there are compared to vehicles.

I certainly prefer the first photo...my favorite part is the graffiti in the upper left corner. Love the B/W....wonder what it is like in color....

I think the others have already beat me to the punch, but I like the uncropped version better. I also think the B&W works really well. You've got a nice wide range of tones.

I really like them both! The first one makes me feel as though I could walk right onto the street and join the bustle. The second on is a little more closed off, but not really in a negative way.
