    I liked the play of light and shadows around the tree

    I think the composition is fine, and the palette is generally pleasing, but I think a darker background or perhaps DOF work would help make it a bit more dramatic.

    Yeah, the palette is great. nice variety of tones throughout. I like how you've exposed this also. looks pretty much right on. The composition is great, although, one thing that bothers me is the high horizon and how it cuts through the tree at the top. I wish it was a bit lower going through the tree at a lower point. other than that, looks fantastic.

    daq, yes i could have taken this from farther away and reduce the DOF

    Liban, I had other shots with a lower horizon once I was closer to the tree, but the light is completely different, from this far i could not have moved the horizon much lower

    Thanks for making these comments, these are things I did not considered at the time

    I like your tree here Armando, but I'm not sure how the horizon seems to bisect it, and also the way the top of the tree makes contact with that other group of trees. Maybe if you were at a higher angle, aiming down .. I like the angle you have, just think that the background could be less busy.
