From Biltmore With Love

I took this the on my last evening shift at Biltmore. The new year brings new and wonderful adventures for me, specifically getting CLicKs started here in Asheville properly. In the meantime comments and critiques are welcomed. Suggestions cheerfully explored but please leave the editing to me. :thumbsup:

Beautiful colors in the sky and clouds, it makes the image very pleasant

I like the tree branches on the right , providing half a frame.

I would have tried a bit less exposure to increase the saturation the sky and clouds, specially since the details in the dark areas are not noticeable

I like the composition the way it its, the only thing I would suggest, as Armando mentioned, increase a bit the saturation, specially the mid tones to get all the juice out of that sky ;)

A subtle difference - but effective! Very nice. My nitpick is eliminate the light spots in the mountains. My eye pleasantly roams through the photo but lands on those. There's not enough detail to tell what it is but just enough to make me stop and wonder -- which, in this case, I find distracting. My other very minor nitpick (which is probably more trouble than it's worth) is to "prune" that most vertical branch in the middle just enough to separate it from the clump just above it. My eye wanders in and out of the negative space between the branches but runs into a roadblock there. I hope that makes sense.

HA! mucho better...may I suggest to crop a bit more the bottom part....I think it will look a tad better if you cropped from what seems to be a road...from there down. Subtle but I think it will improve it.

The second one is very nice. The adjustment you made to the clouds helped allot. Great shot.

I'd crop about half the black foreground area out Cindy. I'm unsure about the tree on the right but it is what it is .. might be a plus anyway. Good overall shot.

Very nice. I would be inclined to crop the bottom slightly to remove the road and a bit more detail in the foreground would improve the image for me.

What can I say? I like framing and silhouettes. I've adjusted the crop slightly as well as the levels and color balance to more like what it was the night I saw it. It was too blue the first time.
