    Bighorn Mountains

Headwaters of the Little Bighorn. Custer met his fate quite a few miles east of here.

    Re: Bighorn Mountains

Thats a lovely clean and pin sharp picture. Very nice colours as well. Even a whimper of a cloud would have added a lot more too.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

I can guess the camera was a 10D, but what lens did you use or what did you do to get an image that sharp?

I really didn't do anything special, in addition to the above exif data: handheld, warming 81a polarizer, Raw processed with Breeze Browser, post processing enabled with USM applied at 5, 3. 0, I am still experimenting with BBs USM, I think the radius was a little big, and maybe a little too much sharpening. Then I used curves a little, and added a little more USM in Paint Shop Pro, and re sized for the web. It is a little oversharpened there are halos over the trees, but an oversharpened image works well for the most part for a web post.
