Betty's and Virg's--The building

Here's what I'm dealing with. Any suggestions?

I hoped you show us a total shot.
Composition is good and I'm becoming more and more a fan of your straight on shots.
I'd like to see it with better light conditions so the front of the building isn't in so much shadow and the bg isn't so prominent.

I see Virg's is open now...did you get a haircut?

Nope.......got a haircut yesterday, but not at Virg's:lol:

My plan is to go back there soon and try to pick the optimum time where I'll get the best light I can. When I'm doing these straight on shots now, I'm trying to pick a good spot where I'm not reflected in the windows. I was a little further away than I wanted to be for this, but I wanted to make sure I had the whole building in the shot.

I think the barber shop alone with someone sitting on the bench would work. A high contrast B&W would be what I a try.

That's a great idea, Greg. But I've never seen anyone sitting on that bench....but I might be able to coerce one of my breakfast group to do it.

I like what you took from this initially. Greg is right about the barber shop. there are quite a few shots and opportunities to be had with this one.
