The way I see it, this is the kind of photo you can get easily in a place like Hong Kong with any camera. But if you want the tram, then you of course have to go over to the Hong Kong Island. This photo looks kind of soft on my monitor. But it very well be because of my monitor.
I personally don't get the connection about the Beckham either. But probably you got it from the name of the 2002 movie. And you're probably referring to the distortion you have in this photo. Any particular reason why you did not fix all the distortion?
Hi Anbesol, The title is borrowed from a film. The tracks are imaged like a football bended by Beckham. By the way, the film is excellent; the trail of it is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=At5opsDNqbw.
Hi Don, Thanks for the kind words.
Hi A, Thanks for the impartial comments. Yes, the title is borrowed from the film. The distortion is a reflection of the life here.
great shot....everything here works. The road adds a nice calm/empty component to an otherwise hectic and highly stimulating image.
The blue trolley compliments the red and really balances it out. This definitely would not be the same image without the trolley...did you wait for it to come by? or was it a happy accident?
well done

Hi D,
Thanks for the perspective. I am glad that you like the shot. Yes, I waited for the tram to come by; it did not take a long time (about 1 to 2 minutes).
