I've just recently gotten into photography and was wondering if I could get any advice from you pros out there? Here's a few photos of what I've done so far...

big fan of the first one. Very sharp, good perspective, well done. Second one, not so much just because the shot's so blurry. I like the third, good expression. Watch the cropping on the top of the head though. Third is very nice, it just needs to be touched up a bit, like burning the part behind the woman to match the rest of the scene's darkness. how do you feel about my change? Hope you don't mind that I worked on it a bit. If you do, just let me know.

LOVE the first one. In the future, you may try using a cicular polarizer or red filter with your black and white to give the sky more contrast. But it's a very interesting picture and I would encourage you to follow in that direction. Your last shot is very interesting as well, but I just fell in love with your first one.

GL to you, and welcome to the board.

    First off....
    Welcome to PR.com!
I am happy to see your first post was in this forum!
Make sure you take a look at all of the other forums, there is a welth of information to be had here!

Of the photographs that you posted, I like the first one the best.
As someone else mentioned I like the perspective inwhich you did it.
You might burn in the white dress a little, but other than that it's great!
There seems to be a a good story or something there.

I look forward to seeing more from you!
    Keep shooting!

    Re: Beginner's Photos

Welcome to PR and keep them coming. Have to agree with most everyone else in that the first one is my favorite. A poloarizing filter is really a good thing to have especially for B&W photos. Really nice expression caught in the thrid one. I also really like the last one. Nice sillouette(sp?) with the sun on the horizon. This is another time that a polarizing filter would have been nice as it would have cut down a little on the glare.

    Hi,
I especially like Photos 1 and 2. Photo 1 has an unusual perspective and the girls seem big! Photo 2 tells a story between a brother and a sister. Their characters are well depicted in the shot.
    Well done!

I like the first and second as well. The first is my top choice. It so summery and clear. And I get the feeling of sisterhood or best friends. And I like the second's motion. I don't know why, but the diffuseness draws me in as well.
