Bees and Old Dudes....seem to "in" this week ,^)

    So here's my contribution....

Wasp was shot with a macro 'screw-on' filter......creepy getting about an inch from the bugger

and during a walk on Mother's Day in Santa Cruz i couldn't resist a quick snap of this old guy and his wonky bike......i shoulda set up the composition MUCH better.....but for some reason I like this snap

any and all critique/suggestions are welcome

Depth of field doesnt cover the head of the wasp. It could also be darker.

OK...this one still has DOF issues....but more 'action'.....

also ran a high pass filter (at 10) and a soft overlay.....looks better in PS than in my browser though.....hmmmmmm

    any and all critique welcomed
