Putting both so close together makes my eyes go funny LOL.
The top doesn't really work for me and its because the in focus leaves need to have a different background to the red if that makes sense.
The bottom photo is much better and the flecks of green leaves adds a lot to it.
However it needs a little fill in from a reflector to make this work as some of the edges of the petals are very blown which is ok but some of the leaves end up to much in the shade and could do with a little more reflected light onto them.
