    Bear Mountain Bridge

Link due to upload not working. Kodachrome 25 taken about 30 years ago. Scanned about 15 years ago. Original lost.

Is this Bear Mountain New York? My Dad used to ski jump there when he was young. It looks very similar if it isn't. Beautiful shot. Definitely worth the climb for the view. I bet you are so glad you backed this one up digitally. ;)

Oh that Kodachrome look! I just picked up my first roll of Kodachrome 64 slides on Wednessday. I love that look!

Yes, I should have mentioned that this is in upstate New York crossing the Hudson River. Most people use the Tappan Zee to cross the river leaving this bridge rather empty. My girlfriend and I had walked up to this peak and I saw the shot. Sure miss those old slides! I do a much better job scanning and processing these days.

Yeah, Kodachrome 25 and 64 were my primary films back in the day. This was probably taken with my manual Pentax MX camera. But it is all nostalgia, I'd never leave digital now!
