    Beach Sunrise and panoramic beach

Just got back from the beach. Tons of pictures, and I've barely started to sort through them all. I stitched together 4 pictures to make a panoramic shot, and I'm not too sure what to do with it. It's huge, but here's a resize that's kind of manageable:

Here's one I snagged of a sunrise one morning.

Lovely light in this. I also like how the cresting wave adds an interesting element to the front of the shot. Without it, I think the shot wouldn't work well.

It could be my imagination, but I think the horizon is tilted slightly.

The pano does not have much to look at to keep it interesting other than a long horizon line and clouds in the sky. the horizon line is very curved and slanted as well which is not good. It needed to be straightened
The second image is ok but what would help is closing in on the sun with a telephoto and isolating it more with the interesting clouds just above it. Sunsets and sunrises are usually best done effectively with long lenses as opposed to wide angles which make the sun look very small in the distance.

A few problems stand out with the sunrise pic: the horizon is tilted and the sun is smack-dab in the middle of the frame. Next time try finding something in the foreground to balance out the sun.

I do like the pano shot but maybe a little less sand and a little more sky?

Hey all, and thanks for the feedback. I'm gonna crop the pano shot a bit, and use only the middle two pictures, because the more I look at it the less I like it the way it is. For the sunrise, I would've gotten a closer picture, but I really liked the way the waves were coming in.
