    Beach Ball Cheerleading

    This one isn't as nice as the other... the ladies are a little too dark wrt the rest of the photo. The sand isn't as pretty here, and I wish the beach ball was just a little higher, more away from the ocean horizon.

    You get some and you lose some.

    Btw, the horizon is nicely leveled.

    I agree with GB, the girls are underexposed. I would have exposed for the girls since they're your subjects (right?), the bright ocean threw off the metering.

    What were the settings on the camera?

    Eep...all these questions about my camera and settings and lenses are showing my non-savviness...lol!

    Quinn...I had my camera on the action setting, with my telephoto lens attached. I was taking pics of other things on the beach as well, which is the reason for the telephoto. I think part of the exposure issues is the position of the sun as well.
