I finally got a pic that I love enough to post! It has more of a crystal clearness to it than what is posting here but its close. I think I finally got the lighting right! I know I clipped her head a tiny bit but I was working with a really unhappy child! LOL

It's a good catch of a not-so-good moment (for this kid anyway!) I like the way the light illuminates the hair. It is reasonably sharp too, but I think you could sharpen a tad with software. I like the composition not being dead center, but like you said it is clipped off at the top. I agree though that action shots like this mean you don't have all the time in the world to compose, so.. consider it a success (more experience will get you to the pt where you won't clip.. Or so I've heard, .. I often do the same thing in those spur of the moment pix ). Finally, I might add some more contrast.

Thank you! I did add some contrast to the pic and it really did make everything pop a little more, you can even see the color in the sand pebbles!
