    Nature Shots

I'm a bit iffy on a couple of my shots, so some critique is well appreciated.

    Re: Nature Shots

i think the first image has alot of potential. first thing i would have done is drop down lower to eliminate the roof in the background, maybe even the trees, and to isolate the front grass/grain? against the sky. the lighting is awesome lighting up all the rest of the grass, but the lens flair is definitely detracting from the image

    Re: Nature Shots

Ha.. when I first saw these shots they immediately reminded me of Maryland. No coincidence I guess (the eastern shore?).

I like the angle you shot these at - it creates a feeling of size and envelopment. The bottom one's a little chopped off and the top one was probably shot in the wrong direction - towards the sun - or at a bad time of the day. So there's some room for improvement.

The colors are great. I don't think you could have gotten them any better. The bottom one's a tad contrasty.

Try getting even lower and aiming up at about a 30 to 60 degree angle. That will REALLY shot the size of the corn stalks (assuming that they're tall this year).

    Tks for posting

The glare from the sun is distracting in the first and the second may have been better with a wider aperture... but other than that I really like the shots!
