    I hate to be blunt, but this jsut doesn't work for me. I'd rather see the rocks in the foreground in focus than out of focus. The colors are relatively bland for a beach shot and I just can't find a strong enough subject matter for it.

    Sorry, I hate being honest, but this just doesn't work for me.

    I think that the beige and the blue work well together in the sand and the sky but I would eliminate the out-of-focus rocks and move closer or use telephoto to try and add a little more drama and interest to the shot.

    i really liked the colors in this photo, and i also kind of liked the de-action, if you will, lol. just kind of a serene, peaceful setting... but i do see how some could find it bland. i also would move the rocks though.
