    My first thought...No tripod, low light .Camera shake? Slightly out of focus.A flash diffuser for the eyes would help as well. The expression is great.

    I agree that it's a great expression. You captured the moment and that is the most important thing. The technical aspects (as Rick described) need to be worked on a bit.. and yes practice will make perfect. Tripods are a pain but the results make them worth it. Or buy some expensive anti-shake lenses

    I love the expression of the puppy and the way he is lying on its bunny. The tripod advice is spot on.
