Barn III "Ugly tree removal edit"

I went back to the drawing board and dug out a different image and removed the ugly trees. How did my PS work do?

Greg - I dont recall the original shot. But if you look close, you can see like halos around the trees and a 'glow' around the house. The grass also looks funny. It therefore comes across to me as quite PP'd.

I think in a shot like this that you have to get in close and get the interesting part bigger. To me the buildings are the thing you want, not the trees. The cloudy sky is icing on the cake. But sometimes, getting close will get you bitten by a dog :cornut: The dangers of photography.

Thanks GB! I see the Halos but aren't sure what's causing them. I am sure it not resizing thought. I may have pushed a levels adjustment to far. I guess I need to hone my PS skills some more. Maybe a reshot but this one is hard to get at. No dogs, just Bulls...

Greg, as far as taking out the wood that was in the fg, I think you did fine from what i can see here. I would crop out the little house coming into the frame on the right side. I noticed you sabed this photo in GIF format, which is not a good idea to do. You should save it as a jpeg for displaying on the web. Maybe that has something to do with the starnge halos that GB pointed out.

I just figured that one out Gary, about the giff. I was trying out CS2 earlier and saved it wrong. Thanks again, maybe I will get things sorted out before long. I'll try and replace the image.
