    Barn 2

Here is a wider view of the barn. Very little post processing except a bit of sharpening and polarized the sky. Never tried that before but it makes it look like it was a nicer day than it actually was.
    C&C welcome.

Nice color saturation. Beautiful greens against the worn wood barn.

I'm not sure I understand the "polarized the sky" comment. Did you actually use a polarizer filter or was this some PP work?

Very nice subject Frog. I think though I would like to see a wider view offering a bit more sky. A couple of steps back. But well done with what you have here. I am interested in your PPing of the sky.

    Re: Barn 2

Sorry another word slip on 'polarized the sky' What I did do is use the magic wand to select the sky and then enhance, adjust color, color curves and selected 'solarize'.
Sky was basically gray before that.
    Thankyou, Jim.
Greg, a couple of steps back would have sent me head over heals down a bank that I climbed from the road to get to this spot. See 'barn' from a couple days ago. This is about as wide as I could go unless I was on the road and then you'd have to see the bank and fence and lose the bottom of the barn. Such is life.

    Re: Barn 2

If you could shoot this at sunset or sunrise, to get a less bright sky while the barn remains illuminated, you may see some improvement.

If you're up to it, try an HDR of this too, barns and HDR are a fun combo.

composition and subject are both excellent.
