    The Barber Shop

I started to put this in Capture a Stranger but I desided to develope the film myself. I am disappointed with the scan, but I think it has a news paper look to it?

It does have that newspaper feel to it. Looks like a real barbershop, too.

    Hi Greg ...

Is that a lady barber?? Next you'll be telling me there are lady doctors and lady politicians - what is the world coming to!!

Seriously, you captured a good impression of a barber shop. You managed to compose it so that the strip lights aren't too distracting (always hard). Well done - especially as you developed it yourself (something I haven't done for many a long year now!)

    Cheers

    Greg,
There's a lot of good stuff going on here with the lights, and reflections. B & W is a great choice for this, because IMO color would create too much conflict. Well done.

Greg, well done on your framing this up. The lighting is tough on these inside shots such as this, but you pulled it off well

This lovely Greg and has a lovely, friendly, old time "small town" feel to it. Those strip lights could easily have damaged this shot but you have managed very well to keep them under control.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
