    Barbed Wire

    I guess you could say I'm new to photography. I just bought a Canon Digital Rebel XT a few weeks ago.

    Hey there, welcome.

    I really like the first image with the blue background it is very defined and a lot easier to view than the other image. very good start well done! :thumbsup:

    I think point*break meant the second photo which I agree is better than the first.
    First one is cluttered.
    Second is better with cleaner lines.

    The thread title made me think of fields and cows ;-) I agree the second one is better, but I think there should be more.

    The bottom shot has nice perspective and diagonals, plus good anchors on each end. I also like the way the barb wires and barbs show against the blue sky. I just wish the object in the lower left part of the photo wasn't there. Good shot overall. - GB
