Nice image, the colors are subtle which works. The focus seems soft but not unpleasant.

    Jim,

Thanks for taking time to comment.

Quite a bit of noise reduction was applied and this is a HDR type 'composite' image. There are three different versions of RAW processing combined to get this photograph. Thus, I feel somewhat lucky that it isn't softer.

    Again, thanks.

Yup, fairly soft but attractive for sure. I haven't seen a lot of well executed HDR composite but I like what you have done here. The vegetation in the foreground greate an interesting pattern. I just wish the wire wasn't in the way but it's not such a big deal.

    Re: Ballooning Sunset

    CDP,

Different type of shot alright... Somehow the ballon seems a lot different from the background sky. It does seem painted.

It's good, but I feel that the barn (?) et al don't quite match the ballon. They just seem like they don't belong in the same scene, if you know what I mean? But at the same time that's what ballons do, blow across the farmlands. I have mixed feelings on the right side bush sticking up that high. The telephone line, I wouldnt worry about too much.
