    Bald Eagle

    Hello,

Here is a composite of 3 pictures of the same eagle taken at Farmington Bay (Utah). I used a 400mm @ f/5.6.
Please tell me what you think.

    Re: Bald Eagle

I love this shot.. mostly because I freakishly love wildlife and understand the patience involved in getting it. As I'm a novice, take my opinion with a grain of salt; but I would love to see this cropped a bit with only the middle frame (talons exposed ;) ) At the same time I am impressed and curious how you obtain the multiple exposure like this.

    Nice!

Wow awesome picture! The multiple exposure works on this picture, and these colors are just amazing! I know some might complain of the weeds on the right, but I don't mind them at all. Overall, great shot and very impressive!

    Hey Seb,
The only thing that bothers me about your image is the weeds in the lower corner.
It's rather distracting. Watch for stuff like that when you are looking through the viewfinder and move if you can.
Did you move north? I thought you lived in southern Utah?

    Re: Bald Eagle

    Hello,

Thank you for the comments. I agree about the weeds but these birds are fast I did not have time to move... I will probably try again this week-end (without the weeds ) if the weather is not too bad. To answer Brian's question, I live in Salt Lake City, Farmington bay is only 20 minutes north of Salt Lake. I shot these 3 picture in continous mode with a 10D and I merged them with photoshop. The second shot is my favorite (see attached picture (cropped)).

    Thanks again

Great work Sebastien B. . . I am not too crazy about the composite, although it looks "cool". I like the last one you posted and would like any three of these shots as they are all good with great lighting and sufficient sharpness. Very good " moments" in your timing. Great work

Great shots and I like the composite. Good original thinking.
