    Alison - Decent shots. Very clear, and good color. I think the DOF is just too shallow. I know the idea is to blur the background, but the focal area is razor thin here... it should be at least as deep as your model (more, assuming you don't get the focus perfect).

    All this is excusable, except your misspelling of the word 'practice.' :blush2:

    I too like the BW one as the tattoo stands out so well and that does appear to be one of the reasons it was presented that way.
    I agree that sometimes it is overused but I think this images simpleness gives extra drama to it.
    And the off centre effects meant or accidental are what add some natural life to the subject.

    It's just probably one of those things where people spell things differently e.g. centre and center.
