    Re: Back to School

I enjoy this image. Sure, it's packed full of people in a compositionally messy way - but that's life! There is a lot of detail to enjoy, especially the girl in the middle looking at the camera - she lifts it.

    Cheers

I agree with what Mike said plus the girl in the blue dress adds another element

    Re: Back to School

    Nice !
Was this taken with a tele? or how did you achieve the isolation of the kids vs the background trees, I like that.

I agree that the girl in the middle making a fuzz improves the shot

    Is this Cuba ?

too bad the feet of the kids in front were cut

Mike, definitely that girl in the middle makes this shot. infact if she wasn't there, i probably wouldn't even upload it :-) thanks man.

    Thank Pete.

Aramando, yeah, well not a tele. it was 120mm at f8. is that considered tele? hmm. yeah it's cuba. and i agree the about the girl in the middle, it is why i uploaded this shot :P

the feet don't bother me so much.

    thanks man

    Hello Liban
Yes the girl has spotted you and has provided you with a little "Grease" pose. She seems a character.
I like the girl walking into the crowd as if to spoil the 'uniformity' with that blue skirt. It's fun scanning the picture and watching the various poses and body language of the rest of the cast.
I think it is a very enjoyable photograph.

Just an observation, but there can't be many fast food outlets where this was taken.

Great - the gal steals the show. She's almost in full view, good enough. Composition wise I think it could be a little more tied together, but it works as is.
