    Babe in Arms

    I took this shot while the girls were standing in front of the sliding glass door, the only light source. She didn't see me so the picture was a surprise to her (my niece). I had cropped the right side a bit the changed it to grayscale, and cleaned some scan debri. I would like to know what you think. Thank you

    I'll bet she loves it. Wha t beautiful introspective shot. The negative space is very effective.

    The folks on the Digital Imaging forum discuss some interesting alternatives to grayscaling.

    Beautiful shot. You captured a very quiet moment.

    The tones are a little dark - which is probably because it was indoors with no other light sources. You could definitely brighten up the tones in PS, though...
