    B/W Wet Flower

    I found this fallen flower after some fairly heavy rain.

    Not sure yet how but the crack between the paving stones needs to add to the image. Perhaps you could rotate and have it more vertical. A vignette might not go amiss either.

    Arne - This one's a bit too snap-shotish I think, and I agree that the dark line thingie really seems out of place. But even if the line thing wasn't there, the lack of color makes the flower fade too much into the background. A very narrow angle, just off the ground, might add some more excitement.

    Increase the contrast between the flower and the background might help. The crack is too dominant it seems to me.
