    B&W Letter boxes

I was taking my daughter for a walk yesterday afternoon, and just happened to come across this scenario.

I've adjusted the contrast, added some noise, as well as some form of vignette. Does all of it work for you?

    Any suggestions?

I like it, very dark and eerie, the graininess adds a lot to it
I am mainly here to learn, I'm pretty new at photography so please don't be afraid to say whatever you need to if you're critiquing my photos, and take my composition advice with an extra grain of salt

I like your composition but I might have tried to have the letter box on the far right be the main focus and have the others trail off in the dof.

Cheers desertdog and jbaldocchi. I saw some similar type of situations as I was walking around, so I might have another go at something simiar.

I agree with jbald 100%. Bring the focus to the far right.

Thanks for the input guys, I'll have another go at re-shooting it some other time.

And yes victorhuang, the image was shot late in the afternoon.

I like it. My only suggestion would be to clone the power line. Nice processing.

Cheers Greg. Its nice to be noticed by some of the regulars I'll pay more attention to backgrounds next time and I'll possibly re-shoot this shot again soon.
