I prefer the B&W - but that's juts because I tend to regard sepia as a little gimmicky. It's just my personal taste on it.

Yes I would be inclined to shave just a little off the bottom - and a little off the right too.

My preferance issssss.....no preference. I think they both work well, but Mike's right...a little crop off the bottom and right side wouldn't hurt.

I agree with cropping the bottom and right. The right hand crop will leave the subject not so centered.

Thanks Frog for checking out the big'er 1250 x 840 res image.

Roger 10-4 on the crop. Anyone, Feel free to edit this,or rip it.How does this larger image look on a calibrated monitor? Thanks!

It might be just me, but I felt that the barn shadow details are lacking, could be better,am I too picky? or does that even matter at this perspective? It's the scene, the mood, the vintage feel... right? not just the barn. Your thoughts?

I wouldn't crop it. To me, the subject is the barn and the tree (in fact, the tree grabs my attention more than the barn does); cropping it from the right would center the entire composition. If anything, you could have used a little more foreground and a little less sky.

    Thank you DrRoebuck,
I agree, the tree is very strong, find myself looking to the left.My thoughts exactly about cropping! If I had a chance to look at this on a calibrated monitor...It has very good detail I thought.I used a(CPOL filter) I like your idea of less sky as well.
    I appreciate your thoughts.
