Aw nuts

Hi, I'm new to the forum. This is my first post. I am here to learn. I enjoy outdoor shots, so most of my posts will be of that nature. I took these on my Sony DSC-H1. It was late afternoon when I took the photographs. What do you think?

Pretty cool. Like the composition and DOF. Might have cropped it a little tighter though to get rid of some of extra branches and concentrate on pods more. Love the blue sky. And welcome to the PR.

I love the second one. The vibrant colors, the warm-soft lighting and the simplicity. Although, watch out for funky shadows getting in the way of your subject, etc.

The first one is great, although it seems a little empty. :\

I seem to have a hard time critiquing, lately... but I'm not good so maybe that's why.
