I'm afraid the first two don't do anything for me. Attempts at close ups but the foucus is off and it isn't evident what the pictures are of. Focus seems off on the third one too.

I like the woods scene and you caught some pretty good light, especially on the forest floor. I'd like to see more of the trail leading into the woods.
The rose is nice. You may want to try different colored backdrops too.

If you want critique then try and keep one pic to one thread. At the moment I want to add critique to a few but it would get confusing.

On the leaf series they all seem a little harsh and perhaps muting the colours would help. On the selective coloured pic then mute the leaf colours to help them blend more

From the last four the third is excellent - sunny stars pic and so is the last the colours are wonderful.

The second needs to be retaken in softer light for me and number one the sky is totally blown out and spoils what could have been a good photo taken in the evening.

The first 2 including the flower seem a little overprocessed on my monitor.

Wow- I really like #7 and #9 (breathtaking!) ..and normally I'm not a big fan of selective coloring, but your leaf picture is pretty cool! Maybe if you tried a different angle, it could be an even cooler picture!;)

    Re: An Autumn Hike

Looking at it from the top down (later posts first),....

I like # 2 and # 4 the best. # 2 seems very relaxing and though I normally prefer that the image not be cut in two equal pieces, it seems to work well here because the areas are so different. The saturation is good and the colors are eye-catching. # 4 is magical. I think the sun spots are a very minor distraction, but that the flair is a good thing. The reflections on the water are excellant, IMO..... It seems abstract somehow, just the basics.

I agree with Roger that the leaf shots seem to have a little too much contrast. The flower shot is OK but would have been better with a darker background. The other shots are OK also, though somewhat routine. I think # 2 and 4 take the prize.
